A significant event occurred last month in Georgia! (No, I’m not referring to the one you’re probably thinking of). Georgia now has their own, Georgian-language edition of National Geographic Magazine. And it’s really cool, though a bit pricey to buy issues singly (subscriptions are dirt cheap, though!). Most of their articles are translated from English, but they do have some Georgia-specific pieces as well, such as a piece on the fascinating archeological site Dmanisi. You can check out their (still bare-bones, but hopefully growing) website here.
I love National Geographic. Great news about the Georgian-language edition.
